History

This is the first time we are working with Samii Danche and buying their organic certified coffee. In the cup, we experience a very classic, elegant washed Ethiopian profile. Clean and clear notes of peach, lemon candy, and black tea. This coffee especially has very pleasant aromatic qualities, being perfumy on the nose.

400 smallholder farmers contribute their coffee cherries to the washing station Danche. The farmers are well-trained in production methods and have the benefit of the rich, fertile soils that the environment offers. This combination of the high standard of quality cherries from the farmers, alongside the value that is added in processing by the washing station, results in a coffee that we were very eager to get our hands on.
