Prolog Coffee Purpose Statement

Impact & Commitments – Prolog Coffee

At Prolog Coffee, we believe great coffee should create value for everyone it touches – from producers and partners to our team, guests, community, and the planet. We have made commitments to run our business in a way that delivers meaningful positive impact over the long term.

Our Purpose

“To add to the quality of life, by giving people better coffee experiences.”

Prolog Coffee is a coffee company with the vision of giving people delicious and sense-evoking coffee experiences, and in doing so contributing to creating a positive impact on:

Quality - Life - People - Coffee

Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI)

We are committed to Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion across our governance, workplace, and value chain.

Our JEDI commitment:

Prolog Coffee is committed to building a workplace and community that is just, equitable, diverse and inclusive. We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities and life experiences – and we work actively to remove barriers, reduce bias and share opportunities fairly across our team, partners and guests.

We base our JEDI work on data and stakeholder feedback.

Human Rights

We recognise that coffee exists within global systems where human rights are not always protected.

Our human rights commitment:

Prolog Coffee commits publicly to respecting internationally recognised human rights in our own operations and throughout our value chain. We are guided by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and related international standards, and we expect the same commitment from our suppliers and partners.

Climate Action

Our climate commitment:

Prolog Coffee is committed to contributing to limiting global warming to 1.5 °C.

In doing so, we will:

- in 2026 develop a framework around SMART targets that will help us track progress and guide us towards the contribution to a limited global warming.

- keep measuring Scope 1 & 2 emissions across our roasting, sourcing and café operations, prioritise reductions in our own footprint before offsets, and involve workers and key stakeholders in decisions.

The Scope 1 & 2 emissions are calculated either internally or by a third party.

We will keep this plan public and update it as we progress.

Responsible Lobbying & Public Policy

Our position on lobbying and political engagement:

Prolog Coffee does not conduct paid political lobbying and does not make direct political contributions to parties or candidates. If this changes, we will publish a responsible lobbying policy that:

Aligns any public policy engagement with our purpose, is transparent about positions we support, and discloses any political spending annually on this page.

Responsible Tax Participation

Our responsible tax commitment:

Prolog Coffee is committed to responsible tax practices. We pay the taxes we owe in the jurisdictions where we operate and where value is created, and we do not use aggressive tax planning structures that shift profits away from those places.

Grievance Mechanism – How to Raise a Concern

How to raise a concern:

If you are a worker, supplier, customer, neighbour or other stakeholder and you have a concern about Prolog Coffee’s social, environmental or governance practices, you can contact us at:

Email: hello@prologcoffee.com

Postal: Prolog Coffee - Marguerite Vibys Plads 1, 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark

We will acknowledge your message, explain the process and timelines, and handle all concerns in line with our grievance procedure, which includes protections against retaliation.

Internally, we have a whistleblower program that employees are informed about.

Responsible Marketing & Communications

We follow principles for responsible marketing and public relations to ensure that our social and environmental claims are accurate, truthful and not misleading.

Our principles for communications:

We make claims that are precise, verifiable and substantiated by data.

We avoid exaggerating our impact or using misleading language about sustainability.

We communicate about producers and partners in ways that respect their dignity and agency.
