Lorena Jimenez
History
For the third year in a row, we’re proud to work with Lorena, a dedicated producer and part of the Roble Negro project. Our Head of Coffee, Błażej has had the pleasure of visiting her farm twice, building a close relationship that is reflected in every cup.
This coffee is a beautiful expression of a Round and Sweet coffee from Costa Rica, with a refined elegance and delicate floral notes.
Grown at Finca Cedral Alto, the coffee thrives in a rich agroforestry system where biodiversity is carefully preserved. The farm protects native forest, nurtures wildlife, and safeguards natural water sources that support both the land and surrounding communities. Cultivation is entirely chemical-free, relying instead on natural microorganisms and organic fertilization methods.
Lorena and the Roble Negro team are deeply committed to sustainability, not only environmentally, through low-impact farming and energy-efficient processing, but also socially. The farm supports local employment, fosters community initiatives, and contributes to knowledge-sharing through partnerships that strengthen long-term resilience.
